It was very comfortable and friendly. The food was excellent. There is a lovely view of the garden and sea from the terrace and the dining room. The outdoor pool is a pleasure.
Suitable for old couples.
Website looked amazing but rooms were a little dated and walls of the rooms were quite thin. Lots of old couples enjoying their stay but not really suitable for 3 girls on a weekend away.
The gardens and pool and the views from the dining room plus the food was lovely
Very friendly staff. Great breakfast and bar food. Great local restaurants - Oyster Box is v.good if you like seafood.
Depending on fitness, could be just a bit to far to walk to the beach. Taxi to St.Helier £ 20!
Friendly and keen to please, good location,
Sauna and gym was locked and no info about it.
The Windmills had a fantastic view from the restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice. It was close to a lovely bay and had ample parking. The gardens were well maintained and lovely. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful.
A vegetarian breakfast option would have been nice with veggie sausages!!
The staff were excellent. The location was lovely
The sensor light in the bathroom went out if you had a long shower it went on in the night when you need a quick pee. Waking the other person on the room. I didn't like not having a sink in the bathroom extremely bad design fault.
Pool was good. Staff were friendly. Views from dining room and terrace were great.
The setting was wonderful - lovely garden overlooking St Brelade's Bay. Plenty of outside seating perfect for relaxing in the sun, Excellent service.
We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at this hotel. This is an excellent hotel which provided comfort, excellent food and first class friendly service from the moment we arrived. I t was obvious that many of the guests were regular customers - and were greeted as valued friends on arrival. The facilities are very good and the view over the bay from the dining room is stunning. The same view can be enjoyed from the terrace where food and drink is served most of the day. The otdoor heated swimming pool is set amongst beatiful gardens. We hope to return at some time but, in the meantime, we would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
Elderly or infirm guests would find the uphill walk from the beach a problem buy there is a reliable bus service from near the hotel allowing access to all parts of the island at very reasonable fares.
Very nice hotel with friendly staff situated close to the beach. The best bit is definitely the beautiful pool and gardens overlooking the Bay.
Location was good in terms of being in St Brelades bay and close to the airport. Easy access into St Aubins and St Helier by bus although expensive by taxi (not the hotels fault). Rooms were clean and well maintained for a 3 star hotel and views from certain rooms were amazing. We were originally in 24 which has no view but requested a move to room 27 which had a view over the bay.
very nice clean hotel , freindly staff , good location for the beach
steep climb from the beach
It had a relaxed atmosphere. The staff are lovely and they did everything possible to make me feel at home. Both the public rooms and bedrooms are nicely furnished. They have a light and airy dining room with lovely views, a lovely sun terrace with nice seating and a warm swimming pool.
It was hot when I was there and the duvet was too thick and warm.
Very comfortable, friendly staff, superb location.Large balcony overlooking bay. Weather was not so friendly so could not make use of it! Would definitely stay there again maybe later in the year.Would highly recommend it, especially for the more mature guest. Altogether a most enjoyable weekend stay!
